Laser pointed at plane near Manchester, New Hampshire, FAA says

The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into reports of someone shining a laser at a plane flying near Manchester.

Pilots from a Boutique Air flight reported the green laser around 7 p.m. Thursday, five miles northeast of Manchester.

FAA officials said no injuries were reported.

Shining a laser at an aircraft is a federal crime that can bring fines of thousands of dollars.
