Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: How to “Unlock” Green Laser Walls

To fully explore all that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has to offer, players must find a way to pass through the green laser walls that block progress.

As players explore the vast reaches of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's galaxy, they may come across an impassable wall of green lasers. For players looking to find everything the game has to offer, these lasers add to the Metroidvania aspect of the series, preventing access to new areas until later in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

This guide will walk players through the process of getting past these Green Laser Walls in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, allowing players to delve further into the depths of the galaxy, unlock more collectibles, and progress through missions.

In order to get past these impenetrable laser beams, players must progress far enough through the main quest. On Cal's return to Jedha, after exploring both facilities on the Shattered Moon and Koboh, he will be tasked with fending off the Imperial forces as they attack a Hidden Path safehouse in an old Jedi Temple. Reuniting with Dathomirian Nightsister Merrin on the desert moon, the pair must traverse the sands, winds, and rocks to reach the Temple before the Empire.

After acquiring the new Air Dash ability from the Singing Ruins, push into Pilgrim's Crossing to receive the "Locate Brother Armais" objective. Cut through the rubble to find the Sanctuary Temple Meditation Point and climb down to the bottom of the cavern, taking out the Droids and Troopers down there.

With the room cleared, head right before the green laser wall on the ground floor and grapple up, performing some more traversal past a Trident arm to reach a grand hall. Kill the Stormtroopers here and dive under the water, swimming through the caves to come to a puzzle room.

Inside, pull the rope on the left of the door to raise the weight there, locking it in place with the nearby pedestal. Next, pull the large moving wall on the right before quickly raising the weight on the right, allowing the wall to pass all the way to the left. Letting go of the rope, pull the two sliding walls on the left into the center to unlock the hidden path ahead.

Heading down the catacombs, take a door on the left to trigger a cutscene in which Merrin will hand Cal "Merrin's Charm." With this item in hand, Cal can now perform a Dash through the green laser walls all over the galaxy. Moreover, dashing through them will reset his double jump and dash abilities, allowing players to chain them together to cover vast distances in the air.
